Sales Development Specialist

You will play a crucial role in our sales process by identifying potential university partners, engaging with key decision-makers, and nurturing relationships. Product
Our flagship product is an AI-powered mobile app called Quizly. Our extensive research focused on mental health of students in universities accross Canada lead us to believe that the major cause of depression and axiety is academic stress. Quizly alleviates the suffering and reduces academic stress experienced by students by providing them with a tool that helps them achieve better grades in less time.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential university partners through various channels, including online research, networking, and databases.
- Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, and social media to introduce our product and value proposition.
- Qualification: Qualify leads based on criteria such as institution size, interest in educational technology, and potential use cases.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demos between qualified leads and our sales team.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and leads in our CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably in the education or technology sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools.
